These terms govern your use of the Ignicode website, the instruments in the Suite, and the mentorship that comes with your membership. We have tried to write them the way we write everything else — plainly.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you and Ignicode ("Ignicode," "we," "our," or "us"). They apply when you visit our website, apply for or purchase a membership, use any instrument in the Suite, or take part in mentorship (together, the "Services").
By purchasing a membership or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
You pay once a year. If it is not for you, ask within 30 days and we refund the full fee. The software is licensed to you personally. Our instruments and mentorship are training tools — not medical treatment. Be kind to our mentors and do not share your license.
Ignicode is a laboratory building software for cognitive performance. The lab operates from Montreal, Canada; formal incorporation is in progress, and these Terms will be updated with the legal entity's details once it is complete. You can reach us at any time at info@ignicodes.com.
You must be at least eighteen (18) years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher, to purchase a membership. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us, including on the membership application and payment confirmation.
Ignicode offers two annual membership tiers. Each runs for twelve (12) months from the day your membership is activated.
The current contents of each tier are described on our website at the time of purchase. Instruments marked "in development" are included once they are publicly released; we do not guarantee a release date. Memberships do not renew automatically — to continue after twelve months, you renew with a new payment.
Prices are stated in US dollars. We currently accept payment in USDT on the TRON (TRC-20) network, at the amount shown on the payment page.
We will never ask for your private keys, recovery phrase, or wallet password. Anyone who does is not Ignicode.
If you decide the work is not for you, email info@ignicodes.com within thirty (30) days of your membership's activation. We will refund the full membership fee we received, in the same coin and on the same network you paid with, to a wallet address you provide. Refunds are sent within ten (10) business days of your request.
When a refund is issued, your membership and software licenses end. As described in our FAQ, a member who uses the guarantee cannot re-enroll later. After the 30-day window, membership fees are non-refundable, except where the law of your place of residence requires otherwise.
While your membership is active, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the instruments in the Suite for your own use, on a single user account and a single device, unless we tell you otherwise for a specific instrument.
You may not copy, resell, sublicense, or redistribute the software; share or publish license keys; or reverse-engineer, decompile, or circumvent the license system, except to the extent the law expressly allows despite this restriction.
Mentorship calls are scheduled together with your specialist. Both sides will make reasonable efforts to keep, and where needed reschedule, the sessions included in your tier. Mentorship is personal to one member and cannot be shared or transferred.
Mentorship is structured, evidence-informed coaching applied to cognitive performance. It is not therapy, and our mentors do not act as licensed clinicians.
The Services are designed for training and self-improvement. They are not medical devices and do not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Nothing in the Services is medical or psychological advice.
You agree not to misuse the Services — including by interfering with their operation, attempting unauthorized access to our systems or other members' data, using the Services for unlawful purposes, or treating our mentors or other members abusively. Cohort channels are shared spaces; what other members share there is theirs and must not be shared outside.
The software, protocols, content, design, and brand of Ignicode belong to Ignicode or its licensors. Your membership gives you the right to use them as described in these Terms — not ownership of them. Content you create inside the instruments, such as your own memory palaces, notes, and mind maps, remains yours.
We continuously update the instruments and may add, change, or retire features. If the Services are materially interrupted — for example by extended server issues or a mentor's extended absence — we extend your membership by the equivalent time.
You may stop using the Services at any time; refunds are governed by Section 06. We may suspend or end your membership if you materially breach these Terms — for example by sharing license keys or abusing staff or members. Where the breach can be fixed, we will tell you first and give you a reasonable chance to fix it.
To the extent permitted by law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available." We work hard to keep them accurate, secure, and available, but we do not warrant that they will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that they will achieve any particular result for you.
To the extent permitted by law, Ignicode will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Services, and our total liability for any claim relating to the Services is limited to the membership fees you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the federal laws of Canada applicable there. If you are a consumer, nothing in these Terms removes the protections that the mandatory consumer laws of your place of residence give you.
We may update these Terms as the lab and the law evolve. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date above and, for active members, notify you by email. Changes do not apply retroactively to a membership year you have already paid for, unless they are in your favour.
